C220 Struggles to start. P0087
Hi all.
Im having problems with my c220d when trying to start it.
Quick recap:
i bought my car with no engine and gearbox, bought a donor car exactly the same model and spec (2012 c220d auto)
it’s now a running and driving car. But I’m having issues with it starting, especially when cold.
Im getting error code p0087 (low fuel pressure) it turns over and eventually starts 10/15 seconds later.
First thing I’ve done is change the fuel filter, I’ve also changed the glow plug module.
When the cars cars running and hot it starts fine. I’m not experiencing any sluggish performance. The car drives perfect and pulls well.
Any advice on anything to check next would be appreciated.
