Rear wheels rubbing C63 AMG
Hi
I got some new wheels for my car the size on the rears is 19 x 9.5 ET 45 and the garage used 3mm spacers, not sure if it was for looks for clearance issues
My car is also lowered on H&R springs (they were on car when i bought it)
I have only done about 30miles since getting the wheels but it looks like they are rubbing on the bodywork, like its sticking out too far
Thanks for help

I have the same problem- but have learned to deal with it for the sake of aesthetics and a wider wheel stance. I have front and rear spacers on my AMG sport C250. When I got new tires, I was told I could go a little wider on the tires- one size up- so I did just that- I failed to tell the tire shop that I had put spacers on the wheels previously. When I hit a dip in the road- it sounds like I'm bottoming out, but after closer inspection, it's the tires rubbing on the body- I have put 30K miles on the tires and they are still structurally sound and safe- you can see a little bit of markings on the side walls, but aside from that it's just a nuisance and sounds bad when hitting those dips in the road. My mechanic assured me all is OK- just sounds gnarly. I have personally decided to put up with it becuase the AMG wheels look so good with the wider look to the wheels. I hope this helps!
