I have that issue in my 2000 SL500. All of the front is down. Im going to try 3M Headliner & Fabric Adhesive. I may have to put a little hole in the headliner to get the spray in but that will be better than having it hang down!

The cause, sunroof vents leaking. Occasionally blow them out gently with compressed air, the empty in the rear wheel wells just inside. The fix for the headliner is adhesive with a syringe, little small shots all over the spot that has fallen. Squirt, tap up, let fall again for a min or so then press it up and smooth it out. This will darken the lighter colored headliner material but just a little. The best fix is a new headliner but few of those repair guys have the exact match material. I just had mine done in the 300.

2014 C250 coupe - headliner delaminating at rear
MIne been doing for 3-4 years in rear but its slow so letting it ride . Agree the 3M headliner adhesive worked well on other cars so may try it . I have kept sunroof drains clean so I think its a systemic problem on C250 coupes. Drivers seat covers will split - is a DIY job , see you tube for C250 coupe since it has NeckPro headrest is a very specific procedure unlike the 4 door C cars. And seat handle breaks on a lot of C class coupes which is in DIY you tube how to .

My headliner - 2012 C250 coupe - is without any visible (at least to me) issues.
Would sunroof non-use possibly be a factor here?
CPO car - only one issue since 2014 purchase (ESL)
