Mercedes Benz C204 1.8L C250
C250 CGI 1.8L Muffler Delete Exhaust
Has anyone got any useful information on putting a custom exhaust on a 1.8L C204 C250? It's hard to find much about the models exhaust system that doesn't include quad exhaust tips. I'd like to make a Y=pipe set up like the C350 and all I can find is doom and gloom.
Does anyone have any information on whether modifying the exhaust causes issues with things like torque and back pressure? I've seen old threads saying such things but I'm certain removing mufflers increase flow and ability rather than limiting it, but old 2012-14 very popular posts say different. The issue with the posts is that Google would rather show the click-bait than every post and when you type in muffler Google throws up muffler turbo deletes which isn't what I want.
Any information would be really great as I'd like to consider a Y-pipe setup with muffler delete, but just want to make sure I'm not damaging the vehicle.
