Coolant Leak
Good afternoon All,
Hope someone on here will be able to offer me some helpful advice.
My W204 C180 (petrol) has developed a coolant leak from the connection circled in red. The temperature remains stable on the temp gauge however, once the engine is up to working temperature, it stars to leak coolant quite badly. As far as warning lights, I get an intermittent check coolant warning on the dash. No other warnings. I am getting heat from my heaters from inside the car so possibly rules out the thermostat??
Car recently serviced on time by independent MB specialist using original MB parts. Millage 42k I believe the engine is a derivative of the M274 DE16 LA family.
Any pointers as to what could be causing the leak would be greatly appreciated.
