Strange noise
Hi Guys,
I have a problem with strange noise which occurs during drive. It only happens for 1sec after start of engine and driving for 100-500m.
I tried to drive with A/C off and also with entire ventilation turned off and sound was still present. It’s not connected with moment of turning the wheel, changing the gear or acceleration, it happens by itself just when you drive straight. At the moment it’s happening since 3days. Also I have a feeling that it’s coming more from the front-left side, but it’s difficult to follow source of the 1-second sound from inside of the car.
My car is 2013 C-class (coupe) 220CDI with OM651.
Today I want to check power steering fluid level just to be sure, but I think that if this was a problem, I would hear this everytime when I turn the wheel.
