Hi all

I get on cold mornings smoke that’s blueish white and lingers for a while, this is usually only after the night and doesn’t seem to happen during any other situation.

I had a timing chain and water pump replaced just a week ago but the smoke problem has remained, at first i thought it was leaking injectors as there was smell of petrol in the oil but they been confirmed to not be a issue.



Build up of grime and dirt right below the air intake tube leading to the filter.

Would anyone be able to tell me what this part could be that has the dirt?

and what could be a common fault for this smoke? Oil separator?

any help is of great appreciation

 

Blue smoke generally means oil (Black is fuel)

Folks used to point out worn piston rings cause blue smoke.
