C204 centre speaker wiring

C204 centre speaker wiring
Hello, new member here. I've tried the search engine but couldn't find any posts on the correct wiring.

I have a 2014 C204 and needed to replace the centre speaker. Upon removing it, the wires became dislodged from the plug.

My question is, there are 2 wires, brown and grey. Should the brown wire go into the left or right fitting hole in the plug so I have correct polarity?
