2003 C200 Kompressor sports coupe

2003 Mercedes C200 sports coupe: 84,000 miles
Upon first startup, car is jumpy for 40 seconds..then clears..no dash warning lights...nothing coming up on diagnostics after 40 seconds. .after a short drive....starts ok within a couple of hours..3/4 hours same problem.
changed spark plugs/air flow sensor/camshaft fuel trims....O2 sensors changes....smoke test on intake system - no leaks.
problem still there..been like this for 3 months...after 40 seconds, car runs ok ..but petrol consumption down..
Anyone any thoughts ?
