My understanding is the order to vehicle build process could be as little as a few weeks. This is based on my discussions with a CA dealer Sales Associate a few months ago.
The shipping of the car to Long Beach and then to your dealer will likely take considerably longer (12 - 14 weeks, I believe).
All in all if trying to determine the duration, I'd give the full process 4 to 5 months, depending on how fast you move and get in a build queue. A dealer sales rep should be able to provide better specifics.
