I have looked into this option but very expensive especially with new touch screen.

I have installed a simple retrofit kit from a new distributor in Australia for my 2016 C Class.

It is a module that simply plugs into the OBD2 port and installs Apple CarPlay.

No need for dash and centre consul removal, it is clean and quick and only costs $700.

Just contact Kevin for information on the install for your Benz.

Thanks but I think that possibly only works with NTG5 or later whereas I have ntg4.7.. I will ask the question.
