2017 c300 cab recall in SoCa
I have been shopping for a 2017 c300 cab. Several dealers have told me that they cannot sell a vehicle that has been recalled. One dealer who wants me to buy from them acknowledged the recall AFTER I mentioned it to them, and insisted they can sell anyway. Then they said as long as I sign a form acknowledging that the vehicle has a recall other dealers stated that it is not true. They can't sell a vehicle.
Any advice?

A gaggle of MB's
Well... there was a Stop Sale called last week - by model & by year & by specific VIN #. Once a Stop Sale has been called - that's exactly what it sounds like - Stop Sale any specific vehicle listed.
However last Saturday - the Stop Sale was amended to "OK to Sell" with Customer Notice. Now - for new MB's affected that's clear - however pre-owned MB's that are affected.... they can be sold - there is a "glitch" - technically a CPO cannot be posted with recall listed.... wheels within wheels...
