Im new to this forum so bare with me if this post is all in the wrong place.
I just pulled the trigger on a c400 4Matic Coupe since I really couldn't justify the extra $20k to get the c43.
The c400 is using the "same" V6 engine like the c43, but is way cheaper. How come?
The c400 I ordered now have almost all extra added features you can chose from, but cost the same as a c43 with nothing extra.
I found it wired nobody seams to own the c400....do you guys have any thoughts on this? How come?
Have I missed something here....?

C400 is much older and has a very outdated transmission. There really isn't too much difference other than that and some improvement in refining though...
I didn't even know you can still order a C400 new.
I would say, for $20k less, you made a good choice.

Regarding the transmission, all information stated is that it's a 9G-TRONIC like all the other engines....
I know they where using a 7G-TRONIC before...is it that one you are thinking about when you say "old and outdated transmission"?
I also have a C400 but the sedan version, 2015. I didn't know you can order one new. I believe that they C400 as very limited production for that year as midway through the production, they decided to revamp the model to a C43. And to answer your question, the old transmission was a 7G instead of the 9G. A lot of people complained about the shifting of the gears from 1st-3rd gear.
