Comand Audio 20 CD problems

Comand Audio 20 CD problems
so this problem comes and goes i'm well aware it's a software issue
i connect my iphone via USB so i have access to my music play list and don't have to fiddle with it while driving
sometimes when i attempt to change songs via the Cover option it just selects an entirely different album than i wanted
when i click on select by Artist i have to select the artist over the one i wanted
Example
Lorde
Lana del rey
tovo lo
if i select Lana it would just bring up Tovo lo's albums so i have to select Lorde to access Lana's albums
see this problems comes and goes, sometimes it works perfectly some times it doesn't
using the cable my iphone came with and my phone is on the latest version
yesterday comand wouldn't start at all i'm guessing this is because of the heat it started 12 minutes later i'm wondering if they replaced it would it get the same version or the newer ones?
other than that my car has had no problems at all since i bought it.
