Go to EBay and search for Mercedes Eco Start Off. You plug unit into car Diagnostic port the unit will change programming not to auto start Eco Start every time you start car. Eco Start will still work if you press Eco start button in car.
What I did was I just went in the settings and configured the individual mode as per what i wanted and when i came to auto stat / stop just disabled it
the dawn side of it was every time start the car after a long time off had to put it in the individual mode

Same I was going to buy the module then I thought I usually make a decision each time to turn on the PE, so pressing the button next to it, is not an issue.
The module effectively gives you a dead button for eco stop start.
I bought the module. Definitely worth it. That start / stop will add more wear and tear costing more than $120 to fix in the long run. Now if they could only give you a memory for the last drive setting. There is an option for it to have a 4 hour memory on whatever mode you select.

I never thought of that. Its a good point. I never ever have used it.

I purchased MidCity Engineering Eco Off Programer for a 2020 Mercedes Benz C300 Coupe. Very easy and works. I tried other Companies plug in programmers, they did not work.
I hate the fact that you cannot set the default for the Start-Stop yourself without some sort of third-party programming. I would love to get the Eco Off module but worry that it would show that the ECU was modified if the worst happens and I had to have powertrain warranty done.
It will not show it is modified it checks used lat setting in Mercedes Benz OEM software. The dealer can check this off using star computer but they will no do it. When you bring in for service just press eco start stop button it will turn it back on. When service is done press eco start stop button it will turn it off again.
Go to midcityengineering.com. They have a module that plugs into the diagnostic port and reprograms
the eco startstop to stay off once you press the eco start stop off button even when yo restart.
