C 300 Cabriolet trunk release
Looking at a 2019 or 2020 C 300 Cab and was surprised to learn that there is no trunk release on the trunk lid. What it looks like is that you have to either use the key or open the drivers door and use the button in order to open the trunk. This is even true if you order hands free and keyless go.
My wife is really concerned about having to do this with bags of stuff in hand. Even our SLC has a trunk release on the trunk itself and we have never seen this in a Mercedes.
Is this correct and does it concern anyone else?

Sorry but it does not do that on the Cabriolet. In addition, there is no way to manually release the trunk from outside the car other than using the key.

2018 C43 Cabriolet
This issue has come up many times before - check forums . For some reason Mercedes decided not to put a trunk release on the trunk itself on the cabriolet and maybe also the coupe .Its my one and only complaint with the car . You need to get the key out to activate the trunk or open the door to activate the switch .After 2 years I'm used to it ,but it is annoying - thankfully this rest of the car is amazing , so I'm very happy .

Thanks, that is what I was afraid of. Too many sales people do not know this. And the E Cab is a whole lot more money.
But my wife has gotten used to our other MB's all of which have had either hands free or at least a trunk release on the trunk.
