i am looking at pre-owned coupe 2015/2016/2017/2018( before FL) and abit confuse with the 7G/9G. which year the model start to come with 9G
and about android auto, do 2015/2016/2017 model come with android auto? if not, is there possibility for me to upgrade it?

 

9g transmission started with 2019s in US. Android auto also became standard in 2019. Prior to 2019 Android auto was an available option if I'm not mistaken. Not sure what year it became an option. But I looked at 2018s before buying my 2019 and remember Android auto was an option on the 2018 MY cars.

 

IIRC, the 2016+ can be enabled for Android auto, it needs to be flashed but does include the hardware. 2015 does not have the hardware. I could be wrong but this is what I recall from my own searching.
