Hello C205 owners, here I will be posting updates regarding my ownership with this car. I plan on keeping it for a while (4-5 years). I will post pictures soon! So far I've vinyl wrapped the rear roof, both side mirrors, the small front roof section, bought a covercraft UVS100 sunscreen, & recently got a cellphone holder from @JunO Na 's thread on the W205 forum. I have a 2017 C-Class C300 4MATIC Coupe Base exterior with sport suspension. Vin starts with W so made in Germany. General maintenance has been done by me. I do all my oil changes, monthly tire checks, coolant checks, leak checks, & visual inspection. But I let the dealer do the brake fluid change every 2 years with that dot 4+.
After 20,960 miles: I recently replaced the front 2 tires that came stock with my vehicle (01/20/20). My rears have a little more than half tread life left so I suspect in the next 20,000 miles both will be done. I will buy after market non-runflat tires and wheels when what I want is on sale or if something new comes out this year that I like. Still on stock setup:
225/45R18, 245/40R18
7.5Jx18 ET44, 8.5Jx18 ET56 Future Setup: I like meaty tires, I don't plan on lowering this guy. Going for a flush look.
235/45/18, 255/40/18
8x18x+35, 8.5x18x+40
Random notes:
The tire place I went to installed Continental ContiProContact SSR's 225/45R18 with a load index of 91V. Car feels fine but it isn't to OE specs and has different tread design than the rears. I'd love to experiment, but not on a Mercedes. Maybe a Honda/Toyota.
Stock Continental's are ContiProContact GX SSR, with a load index of 95H. Called them up, I think they will own up to their mistake and give me the OE tires sometime this week.
Edit: I got my correct GX SSR tires installed on Friday (1/24/20) for the price of the SSR's
FYI, looks like there are 2 variants of the front 225/45 GX tire. One starting with a tread depth of 10/32" and another starting with 8/32". I've underlined in red the differences:

Thanks to @benzdude for notifying the community about Campaign No. 2019080019. I do live in the salt belt. So I'm glad I got the switch of bolts done. I dropped off my car at 7:10am, got a nice new 2020 loaner W205 sedan, they called me back for pick up at 12:30pm so about 5 hours for all this:
*I didn't get a letter in the mail for this service campaign. So you should be able to just go and get it done!
Yesterday had this message pop up on my instrument cluster. I'm at 26k miles, got it fixed under warranty but I hear this is a very easy job to do. Sort of like changing the charcoal filter under the passenger seat, but it's a $100 part outsourced made in Korea: First flashes in red font color. Then after driving flashes with white text reminding you constantly. It's covered. $0
