I have c300 convertible 2018, I have the roll bar locked and I was trying to release soft top so I pulled the two robs inside the trunk, and it didnt do anything so i closed the trunk and now I am not able to open it and now I have error on the dash saying sot top not fully open or sully closed, I tried the following:
- tried changing the lock and unlock button in the glove box.
- No place to put the valet key under the license plate.
- disconnected the battery cable.
any idea what should I do ?

I assume you have tried to open / close the convertible top to see if that resets things? If the top won't operate, you should try opening and closing all of the windows using the individual window buttons on the drivers door - I know that sounds odd, but it is what MB told me to do when the top on my C300 cab got stuck.
