Question Buying a C300 4MATIC Coupe

Hello all,
I'm looking to purchase a new C300 4MATIC coupe in the next 7-12 months and I have a few questions:

1. I understand that Mercedes will likely be phasing out the C300 coupe in the next 1-2 years. I've read that MY2023 may be the last year for the model. If this is true, approximately when would be the last opportunity to order a new car from the factory? I figure Spring/Summer of 2022 would the last opportunity to place an order but I was wondering if anyone here would have a better idea/insights into this.

2. Where are the C300 4MATIC coupes manufactured for the Canadian market? I've read that production for this model is primarily out of South Africa and the Bremen plant in Germany, but I can't find any further details.

I'm set on this car because I think it's great looking. I'm not a big fan of the look of the new CLS coupe (which I presume is replacing the c300 coupe in the future) and so I would like to get my hands on a new one before I miss the opportunity. Thanks in advance for your responses.

2022 is the last year for the current C coupe. Most likely there is no replacement. Not sure about Canada but the model run in the US is going to be short. You will have to get your order in now.
Coupes are built in Bremen, the new 2022 C 300 sedan will be built in S Africa.
The CLS is a 4 door car that is also not long for this world, it is not in the C Coupes price range.

Thank you for your answer. I heard something similar from another thread, where someone said that an order would have to be placed now to make the cut. However, that comment was made back in May or June. Would you happen to know approximately when production would end? I’m thinking if it’s a shortened run it would have to be by the 1st quarter of 2022. If anything, I will stop by the dealership next week to inquire.

Thank you again.

For the US market it looks like production is done. There are a few cars still being built but nothing else is scheduled. We will have to see if anything is added mid month when cars are allocated. I'd get on the phone with your dealer ASAP
