New W205 owner questions
So pretty much overnight a very good deal (sub $15k 30k. mile clean title 30k mile w205 C300 4matic) came into my lap and I said what the hell may as well may make a comfy backup daily. But frankly I know nothing about this platform outside of the AMG variant's and had a few questions, so first, the basics, what are the known failure weak points of this platform, anything to look out for preventative maintenance wise?, etc. Next, this car came pretty poorly specced without nice wheels or the AMG pack so I have to tackle the looks asap, anyone know what size wheels/tires I can run without upsetting the diff's or 4matic system? I see it is already staggered 225/245, what sizes are acceptable to run? I was thinking of finding a set of AMG take off's from a W205 of some sort, maybe a c43 or AMG line 300, but are they are another good OEM wheels to look out for, Don't mind running a small spacer to make fitment flush. And any good lip kits body mods for non AMG line cars? Was debating just buying AMG line bumpers but seems like a hassle for a 3rd car. Pretty much just any recommendations would be appreciated, oh and also I need rotors, any recommendations? and are the airbags the same between AMG and non AMG wheels, need to fix that as well asap! Look forward to getting to know this platfrom and the community! Photos below of my main toy.

So basically with the rims try to get 18 inch rims because of the weight of the rims it will save you gas and make your car faster. I have the 2015 c300 4door and it’s amazing you may want to upgrade the sound system tho since the stock sound system is hot garbage. As a far as maintenance I did my trans fluid and filter at 100k km (62k mile) and regular oil changes at 5000km (2400miles) and it’s been great. I can’t lie you got a good deal on that car congrats
