Hi guys,
I recently changed my battery and everything works fine.
When I went into the voltage check function on my dash.- The hidden menu.
The UB was 14.3 when the engine was on and 12.6 when the engine was off which indicated a healthy battery condition.
My question is I do understand IB (Battery Current, Amp) is negative when the engine is off and as soon as you start the car it goes positive. But both at idle and driving, the IB gradually drops and stays around 4~7amps.
I guess if it drops to minus while driving that would be the problem. Is this normal? - My UB (Battery Voltage) is 14.4 while driving and it is pretty stable.
I have seen a lot of articles about UB but not many around IB. What is the good IB reading should be?
