How to put a A205 Cabriolet in soft top service mode?
Hi all,
I have a 2018 A205 C-class with the transponder key FOB, not the keyless FOB w start button on the dash.
I wonder if anybody here on the forum can advise me how to put the soft top in full service mode. I need to work on the soft top cords (drill out rivets and replace some of the cords that are worn out/frayed..) I and prefer not to get my fingers cut off..
If I leave the top half way up/down and leave the ignition on I can work on the car for some time but eventually the top starts to close - after like 5 or 10 minutes or so... And with the ignition on the start battery goes down pretty fast.
I'm sure there is a way to do this, probably some pattern w the key, but so far I've only found an instruction for a A205 with the keyless FOB start system.
