LED Headlights - Poor Range
Hi, I have just got myself a c class convertible with LED High Performance Headlights and I must say I am disappointed with them, they have a very poor range and seem under powered
how can I find out if this is normal or if they are faulty, apart from taking the car to a dealer?

Compared to Today's Later Model Vehicles ~ The Headlights aren't as High Tech as far as Headlights go
The " range ", to me seems decent enough though
But if I get in other newer cars in the Family Fleet ~ especially those with auto dim that shine bright on reflective road signs automatically, and have " newer " LED technology ~ yeah, I can see where you may be concerned
Hop in an older vehicle with older HID headlights and you'll think yours are just fine afterwards

If the aim is good, then they might be faulty. LEDs shouldn't be weak. Another owner with the same car is your best bet to compare.
