Concerns about my new 2000 C280

Hello, I'm new here and I'm new to my 2000 C280. It has 57000 miles. I bought my Mercedes about a week ago and since then I've had a few concerns about the car that I didn't realize until I actually bought it. First of all, I've already found out through the use of an OBD tool that my check engine light that turned on three days ago is from a bad air mass meter (or mass airflow meter). It's an expensive part to replace, but I was wondering whether these online benz part stores are worth buying from. Also, someone suggested that I should clean the meter, could this help? Besides from that, I have a few other questions:

1. The button that is supposed to hide the rear headrest, does that work when the engine is off, but the key is in position 2 (I think that's the one)?

2. I noticed that the tachometer is a little crooked (I can tell by looking at the alignment with the clock display), could this be how it was originally, or could it be from someone replacing the display bulbs?

3. There's a spot behind one of the rear headrests in a corner where the cloth lining is bubbling up (getting unglued), is there any way to glue it back down without ripping the whole cloth off?

4. When I sit down on the rear seats, I hear a clicking sound coming from the rear suspension, is this normal?

5. The driver's side seat motor seems to squeal when moving the seat backwards. Can this be lubed somehow? And sometimes when I want to move the seat backwards, the seat doesn't budge, yet it is always able to move forward. Is it a problem with the switch or the motor?

6. How many speakers are there supposed to be? From what I gather the two things under the rear windshield are woofers.

Any answers would be appreciated.

search the forums. I've heard about MAF cleaning methods: carb cleaner, jewelry cleaner, etc. But I've also read "expert" opinion that asks, what are you gonna get, an extra couple of thousand extra miles? makes sense. I've bought MAFs on eBAY for as little as $50, but 10K later, CEL again. Next time, I'll go to Bimmerzone.com, spend the $280 or so, and call it a day. The rest of your Q's I don't know, but I'll check the headrest switch (mine are always down).

WELCOME! ok lets get to the good stuff...

1. Mine are always down but mine only go down when the car is on and running...i just checked
2. The one in mine is even check to see if the LCD display has dismounted off of the clips that hold it in place...might be the prob
3. This may sound weird but get a seringe <-dont know how to spell? fill it with watered down gorrila glue suck it up and inject it into the bubble...i had the same problem
4. I have no idea??
5. Not sure
6. There a 6 total speakers and two tweeters (in the vents that are obove the left and right vents) you will find 4x4.5" (doors) and 2x6.5" (rear deck) the ones in the rear deck are considered "woofers" since they pump out the bass whereas the 4.5" are for mids and tweeters are for the highs

I went to the dealer and it turns out that there were two types of MAF's installed in these 2000 C280's. The dealer said that I have to give him my VIN in order to find out which one it is. The difference between the two apparently is the price difference, where one is $389 and the other $489.

Oh, and by the way, when I do get around to replacing the MAF, will the check engine light eventually go away by itself? If not, can a OBDII scanner tool reset it, or would I have to disconnect the battery for a few minutes?

One quick correction, there are 8 speakers. 2 tweets, 2 doors, 2 rear doors, 2 rear decks.
