more evidence ABS BAS problem!

Earlier I posted that my ABS and BAS warning lights stay on and that my ABS does not work. I noticed yesterday that my cruise control does not work either. This leads me to believe that either there is a blown fuse that I could not find or that the common evidence points to a speed control sensor. Others have suggested this. Can anyone suggest where I can locate the sensor?

Thanks.

Abs Bas

Hi,
Have had the same problem for a while now, i know a fair amount about car mechanics but not much about mercs. Think you may have a suspect abs sensor fault which are found near the brake disc/hub. I found my font abs sensor open circuit, so i stripped back the wire and resoldered the wire again. I Know there is some sort of i.c inside the sensor, its not just a coil, think there may be i.d on it too. dont think front/rear, left/right are interchangable, its not just a coil like they used to be,
I now have a rear abs fault i think, car seems to stick in gear when i go over a bump, and as before ive got the abs bas esp lights on, central locking dont go down when i drive, cruise wont work etc etc. Not sure if the lights will go out when i replace it, whether the car ecu resets if all initial checks are ok?
Im just guessing it may be my sensor??
I might see if the car drives with the sensor totally removed and strip the sensor, see what i can find, dont advise you to do the same tho
