My trunk release has demons!

My trunk release has demons!
Within the last few days, the trunk on my 1999 C 230 Kompresssor has been popping up by itself! I dont know what kind of demons its got but i have to get rid of them as it will some days drain my battery......but if I manually lock the trunk with the skinny key, the trunk stays shut. I have no idea whats going on. Anyone?

My '99 CLK did that after I crashed it. There was no damage to the back of the car, just the front. I opened the trunk after the crash to take out my subs and when I closed the trunk, it would stay shut for about 10 secs or so and then open up. It continued to do this. It would completely shut but then pop open as if someone was pressing the open trunk button. Very strange.

very strange indeed......... thats why i suspect these 1999 benz trunks to having being susceptible to demons!
