shift knob loose, lighter stuck
I did search, but all I found were instructions for earlier model years, and I'm hoping the 2000 shift knob is simpler to tighten(?) Also, cigarette lighter is stuck in; any tips?

I striped my shift knob by trying to take it off incorrectly. If you put some tape ( I used duct ) on the "stalk" "pole" whatever you want to call it, and then put the knob back on, it should be fine. I used that technique and that thing "ain't" coming off anytime soon.
