Fueling problem on 97 C230

Fueling problem on 97 C230
I have this problem since I purchased it new on 97. I can't never get a full tank of gas, and it always stop at 8-9 gallons of fueling process, and the needle on dash board only reads 2/3 full. I have tried to put more gas in to tank, and always stop and have to force it in again.
I broght it to the dealer many times, and they reaplced several items (sensor, dash board reader......) still does not work and they don't know why. does any one has same problem with C Class? and how to fix this problem.

I had a sort of similar problem in my 94 c280, my car would cut off
at exactly half tank. apparently the gas tank is divided into two seperate tanks, my problem was the sensing unit in my tank was hosed, this essentially made by tank 1/2 its true size. The fuel system thought that the tank was empty when it reached 1/2 tank.
perhaps this might have something to do with your problem.
