Aftermarket alarm/starter for 99'

hi i need to know if i can install a compustar on my 99 C43, this is important for security and the starter for winter.. someone please help

i'm no expert here but i dont think you can if you have the laser eye key. i took my car to a local shop to see if it were possible to do it and the answer i got was "well it depends on how much you are willing to pay" in short you would have to buy another key for the shop to chop up to permanently instal it in the reader, which then brings another problem, if you car were to be broken into all the thieves would have to do is turn the laser key instaled, also you would have to use some makeshift key to start the car becuase the ignition would have that piece in it...

this i assume is one way to do it and you can modify the whole thing to make things work better, but back to what the shop told me...it is going to be cheaper to walk your happy cold a$$ outside and manualy start the car...

and i for one am not willing someone to "experiment" on my car, chopping keys and all
