There is a hard screeching sound when I turn on the car and every time it downshifts into first and second gear for the first couple minutes after I start up my car. My reverse is also talking longer than usual to catch. Evidently it is the tranny, but is this strictly because of the cold weather? or will I have to replace the whole tranny to get it to stop?
