i have 99 c230k
which BMW's 3 series model have similar performance (325ci??)
and how much faster is a 6speed 330ci
cause my friend has one and i was just wondering

Your 99 C230k should do 0-60 in 7.3 seconds (MB rates higher).
The 2001 (?) 325 sedan, if I recall correctly, 7.4 seconds to 60.
The 330 can do it in about 6, or less than! Don't even try!

I thought the 330ci had a 5-speed? That's what i remember from driving my friend's car...
well, your C230K has good tuning ability...have it chipped, and there's about 30hp for $400...not a bad way to spend $400...or you can get a pulley which can do the same hp increase for a little more $...or do both (but you won't get a combined 60hp...doesn't work that way...hehe)...then you'll be pulling some good hp...
