2000 C230 CD Changer
In installing a cd changer,I found the power and Fiber-optic cable for the cd changer on the right side in the trunk..no problem. The other end of the fiber-optic cable goes to the left side of the trunk and id not connected to anything... It is bundled with a RF connector and what looks like a muti-pin computer type cable. Does anyone know where the other end of the fiber-optic cable goes to? Do I need an interface box of somekind????

you might get some better responses if you have a mod move this to the W202 forum, as this is posted in the W203 section...
when i had my 202 i had two connectors in the back right, the optic and the power, the optic is like a two pin which plugs into a connector (separte piece bolted to CD changer) and the power does the same. i was having issues with my changer and there are ALOT of thread on the fiber optic deal, search the whole forum and you will get a lot of good hits.
