Tire stuck on my 99 C280

I had a blow out and went to change the tire and it will not come off. I tried kicking it and pulling it, wont come off the axle. Anyone have any suggestions? Thanks!

And make sure the car is secure! IE: A couple jack stands and/or a good floor jack....

A bit late I know ,hope you got your wheel off by now ,but if not. Slacken all the wheel bolts by two turns then drive the car for a very short distance at walking pace swerving from side to side this should free the wheel from the corrosion at the hub.

Good technique to remember! Wilbur you must be in a snow belt state like some others that have had that problem here.

When I have this problem I do as shandy2550 describes, and drives very slowly and then hit the parking break (to loosen the aft wheels)...
