How does the front brake caliper come off?

I have the two bolts in the inside removed but can figure out what's keeping it
from moving up and out of the way. I'm trying to replace the rotors. Thanks.

things with and without wheels
You might have to push back the piston a little due to a ridge that developes on the rotor's edge.

Ok. Thanks. I'll give that a try.

RobertG's right, you might have to push in the pistons a little way inward to get up and over the ridge. You can use a large screwdriver and twist sideways to get them to back up hopefully - you're gonna destroy the old pad, just so you know.

Thanks. Yeah, I went and got a new set of the EBC green pads. I hope the rear
is easier...... I assume so since the front were simply shot and that's where the
bulk of the braking is done. Thanks guys.

The rear is a whole lot easier....you should have two of what I call slider pins, they have a compression collar to keep them from coming out. Tap those out with a punch or sturdy awl, back the pads into the piston before you remove so you have space for the new ones and then slide them out. Very, very easy...
