Not sure if it's just me but the front seat on my euro MY99 C240 is hideous. Seat is cloth btw. have anyone else had this experience? any suggestion on aftermarket seats?

so far i have no problem with mb seats, my is leather and they are firm and comfy. I like it firm, but not to hard.

maybe I could get some used leather front seat. anyone know where i could get them?

I have the pleather (vinyl...aka leatherette), and it's not too bad...you can probably find used seats at some junkyards...there must be a bunch in Germany right? If that doesn't turn up anything, let me know...i know of someone in europe that can probably help.

HEY.. it's called MB-Tex.. get it straight! I have it too and I enjoy it. My only complaint on my '96 C seats are the lat support.. it's just not very good..

i thought mb-tex is on the cloth-seat for W203-C230 only. All 94-00 W202 has either leather or leatherette.

I was under the assumption leatherette and MB-Tex were the same thing.. maybe I'm just wrong. If so, my apologies!

We've had MB-Tex on our 1994 C280 and 1993 190E 2.3...it's basically vinyl that looks like leather...it's not too bad...it's a LOT easier to take care of than leather...

pleather, leatherette, mb-tex..it's all pretty much the same..

SLK Boy, do you have info you could share on where I can get used seats here in Germany? Appreciate it! I love driving my MB but the seats are getting just unbearable. The rear are not so bad..just the front seats..very uncomfy.
