Transmission Shifter Stuck !!
Hello all.. My transmission shifter is stuck, it will only go from "Neutral- Drive- 3rd- 2nd-1st" It "WONT" shift to "Reverse or park. It just happened this morning Sunday August 11th, '02 while on my way to Dunkin Donuts.. I'am hoping its a small problem such as a relay or some thing..any advice before I call the MB Dealer ? Its a 97 C280 with about 90 K Auto. Trans
Did you try posting this on Mercedesshop? I'm sure one of the master tech's could help you out..

Naw.. I didnt go to Mercedesshop is that a site with tech's there... ? And ya want to know something.. when I went to take the car to the shop, the damn thing went into park like it suppose to. I put the car in the shop any ways to be checked out...

Mercedesshop.com has some MB master tech's there that moderate the forums, so they're usually a great help...search the archives first though.

Just wanted to update every one.. that my car is fine. I brought it to the shop the other day.. it was the cable/linkages which caused the shifter to malfunction.
