Euro Cluster
Does anybody know it i put euro cluster in my W202 is it going to start after that, because i can get that and i realy need one so please hel on this one.

I heard you can't just plug in the cluster because the car won't start...you have to use the existing cluster and just swap out the guages. Ask nokia (one of the members/moderators at benzsport.com...he has one in his C280).

It doesn't look to difficult to do...then again, I have the Haynes manual for the car which describes how to remove the cluster, but there's plenty of people that can help you online on how to do this.
Just remember, you have to sway the guages out...you can't just plug in the cluster.

Somebody else on the forum was asking about the Haynes Manual. I have the UK Haynes Manual #3511, is this the same one you got?
Do you mind posting where you got it so we can get a few more members with this great book? The shop I bought it from has closed up.

The one I have doesn't have info on the 6cyl motors (only the 4cyl), but it's still useful for taking apart body panels, general electrical, etc. It's a euro haynes manual. I got it off Ebay. If i find info on the store, i'll post it here.

98 and up has a different cluster (is it before they started the FSS? it's probably the model year where they changed the cluster, but before they started FSS..i'm not sure though). You can definitely remove the guages and cluster out of a 97 (my friend did a euro cluster conversion on his 97 C280)
