C43 or E500/500E?

Base ur opinion on taste/more favorable and performance.

Are we talking C43 versus W124 or W211? That covers a lot of ground in terms of price and overall design paradigms. If money is no object, I'd go for the W211 as long as it was 2004+. I'd expect acceleration performance at least as good as the C43, a far more comfortable ride, handling that is more than good enough (with potentially better steering feel from rack-and-pinion versus recirculating ball in the W202), and more amenities. Can't comment on the W124 500E, as I've never been in one, but I'd probably opt for the C43 between those two based on my experience with a 1993 W124 300E.

My brother has a W124, I have a W202. comparing the 2, I like the way the 202 drives over the 124. Its quieter and easier to crusie at high speed. As for performance, I cant speak to that. I would test drive them both and see which one you like. Go from there. Good luck!

Sorry 'bout the confusion...
C43 (W202) vs. 500E/E500 (W124)
