I have a 95 c36. The lifters at idle make a lot of noise. When I rev the engine to over 1000 r.p.m. it goes away. Is this normal? I was told that since amg has reworked the motor it is a little noisier than a stock 320.

I would also like to know of any b.h.p. upgrades such as another chip etc?
