First off, saying something like that, well, you yourself are asking people for their opinions. So when people show pictures of cars that in THEIR opinion "beat yours," and comment on aspects of your car they do not like, you flip out on them. That's irrational. If you wanted people to look at your car, say, "Hey everyone, here's my ride, hope you enjoy."
If you didn't want criticism, you shouldn't have made the proposal of asking people to show a better car.
People are also allowed to have opinions, don't take it personally. Simply, most of the MB world doesn't like the Euro-tail lights, it's just a part of life. People will spend thousands of dollars on wheels and people criticize against them, atleast you have HP wheels which aren't too expensive.

i really dont understand why u guys are *****ing at one another...the whole reason this crap started was because a guy took a perfectly good w202 and trashed it....his tint isant even dark...he has a stock grille...possibly the uglyst rims ive EVER seen!...not to mention the hidious tail lights that he bought on sale at Auto Zone for $19.99....its people like that, that think they have hot **** because they put a little $ into there car...and i agree with the guy that said...that your suppose to "UPGRADE" your car to make it better and not ruin it by putting **** on it!...what he needs to do is take his ruined w202 and put it on a honda forum...because more ppl would appreciate it there than on here...G

haha, i read the whole topic and you guys are killing me 
, although i am guilty of putting "euro" taillights on my car, and i have the "same" pattern of rims, i think those clear ones are a no go, ive gotten critisized and complimented, but the difference between me and the p.t. is that i take critisizm lightly and thank those for giving me the time to tell me what there is wrong or looks wrong on my car, and that is why you keep the oem parts! So heres my car critisize all you want and i swear i wont FREAK OUT!! chill out p.t. its gonna be ok

...but I'd definitely like the tail w/a smoke set'a lights then clear myself fwiw. Tho I see how it 'families' with the front clear corners to create a cohearent effect you are going for front ta back.(luv that sig image!

Okay I have been a long-time lurker on several of these boards. Ptrainerdave, you came onto this board with an unusually ****y demeanor. I, and am sure many other posters found it incredibly ****y. When you make a broad statement like that, you are just setting yourself to be flammed; moreover, your responses don't help your case whatsoever. You created this thread, your first mistake; however, your responses have left me speechless. Just like you make claims of your fortunes, which I don't doubt (actually, I really don't have the time nor the energy to care about whatever you may or may not have), many OTHER members are of comfortable backgrounds. Even if a person who drives a W202 may be a college student trying to make ends meet, he is still working hard and driving a car that he/she enjoys. You basically made a broad statement that W202 owners are poor; following this, you began flaunting your VAST educational background as a personal trainer. So let me get this straight buddy, you make fun of us for being poor idiots, then you flaunt your personal trainer license. Okay, now time to disillusion you about myself. I am a physician, and I practice medicine in the New York area. The W202 was a car which I bought back in the day, when I was barely trying to make ends meet. In addition, just like several other members, the W202 is FAR from being my only Mercedes. I was contemplating trading it after I was purchasing my CLK500; however, I decided to keep it as a little reminent of my past. Anyway, back to what I was saying...YOU need to get off of your high horse. Seriously, I completely back up 100% all of the members who flamed you. I am usually a person who unbiasely fights for the odd-man-out, but you my friend...have serious issues. Do NOT come onto a W202 enthusiasts' board, and start calling us poor. thankz leftcoast, i have been getting some crap for the taillights, im probably gonna go with the smoked or the oem ones, i kinda bought them to go with the clear corners, but some things are better said than done , the rims are gonna get powdercoated cuz they have some scratches on them, im working on a PDF to see what its gonna look like so ill post it and see what ppl think
