2002 c230k sport coupe
c230 cupholder
I just purchased an 02 c230 the only problem is the cup holder is stuck closed, could some one tell me how to open it so that I can use it, trouble shoot it, and hopefully fix it. Thank you.

Which cup holder are you talking about, the front? If it's the front, the cup holder comes out, and soke it in warm water with soap. I have to do that to mine every now and then, I like my coffee but I also like to hook corners

yeah the cup holder arn't the greatest, but my buddy has a newer style golf 1.8T and his cup holder slides out from the dash right above the radio, so if you spill your drink it's going all over the radio and controls, now that's a useless cup holder
