Wierd Electrical Issues with CD Changer

So I have an '99 C280 with an OEM Radio and 6 disc changer. Every once in a while when I try to start the car, particularly with the CD Player on, the car will not crank. All of the dash lights are fine and it does not seem to matter if the AC is on or off. If I shut the stereo off it starts just fine. This sounds like some soft of electrical short to me, has anyone heard of or seen this before?

Thx,

Josh

Seems like a short to me. I haven't heard or seen it before, but mabye you should check ALL your fuses. I know for my C280 I had almost blown a fuse, you could tell it was starting to burn basically. So I replaced the fuse and everything worked out fine.

Other than that, you might want to use a voltmeter and check it out yourself, to see whats exactly going on.
