Help with NEW MAF 1998 C230 P0170 Fuel Trim
My 1998 C230 didn't pass the emissions test because my cars CEL is on - I got the P0170 code - Fuel Trim Bank 1. I did some research and put in a new MAF Mass Air Sensor. My C230 now runs VERY poorly (it ran fine before) - slow start, hesitation between gears, dies when at a stop, bad gas milelage etc. Is my car just getting used to the new MAF? Will it work itself out / back to normal, or do I have to have the Fuel Trim Adaptions reset by a MB dealer? Any help would be greatly appreciated!
