Good afternoon! Can anyone give me an idea of fuel consumption achieved in city driving for a 1995 C180 petrol auto? Many thanks!

 

Do you have an automatic or a manual gear box?

Sorry, I have a manual gear box. And I drive mostly higways and in the countryside. My -94 C180 Esprit's fuel consumption is just under 0,7 litres per metric mile. In the city perhaps around 1 litre per metric mile. Anyway, I am satisfied with this, since the car is quite heavy.

 

Mine is a 98 C180 with OZ 17" Alloy wheels, no any other modification at all, , runs only 6 kilo per liter in the city and 8 kilo per liter on the highway! Which I think is very bad fuel consumption in this gas-pricy day!

 

Hi, I think I can help there. I have a 1997 c180 auto. It has the over drive (5th gear) and I use 98 octane fuel. I achieve from 11.5Klms/L city to 12.4 mixed city and highway with 14Klms/L for a long 1,200Klm interstate trip recently. I am very happy with this economy.
