I've been taking my C230 to Tafel, but they are a little pricey! I know the Volksdoktor works on Mercedes; I took my GTI there, years ago, with excellent results. I've been meaning to ask my uncle about this, he has several older M-Bs; I'll get back to you if he has any hot tips.

The ONLY place to go for Mercedes-Benz maintenance service and repair is Autobahn Motors at 1403 Hugh Ave. Their phone is 502-473-7858 Great service and better than dealership prices. I've been going to these guys since they opened 10 years or so ago. They can work on any year, make or model of Mercedes-Benz automobile. Their website is www.autobahnmotorsky.com .

i always take mine to Paul's Foreign Auto in Lexington http://www.paulsforeignauto.com/ . I have found them to be about 30% cheaper than James Motor Company (the local MB dealership). Paul is the best Mercedes mechanic i have ever met, and his son in law Brian is one of the top BMW mech's in the area. Paul has also designed a hydrogen fuel system that works flawlessly on MB's and drastically improves mileage.
