I would like any feed back you could provide. It would be very helpful. My question is, what are your thoughts on a 1994 mb C280 I'm in the market for a new car and I really like the C280. If you or anyone eles has owned one or know anyone who has owned one please let me know of any defects or problems that occur freakquently if any. Thank you.

yeah i own a 1995 c280. The major problems that are common with that car are the engine wiring harness. The ac compressor tends to fail too. There is also the head gasket leaking, and the lower control arms cracking. of all of the problems that i have heard, My car only has a leaking head gasket. It costs about 400 to fix, but it doesn leak enough oil to require any major fixing. O eyah and My winshield wiper transmission has broke, so that will be another 400 dollars. Other than that all is well. If you have any more question just ask.

Do a lot of research on the pre-98 cars. The 202 series has depreciated so much that I would like to see you get a mid-98 or newer. Mercedes had longer to work the bugs out of them. The wiring harness is a serious time-bomb with the older cars if it hasn't been replaced. Lots of head gasket stories, too.
