head Gasket leak

I have a head gasket leak and I wanted to know how i could fix this? what tools will i need to fix it?

I don't know how relevant that will be to a 6 cylinder but it is an interesting read. There was a post on www.club202.com by a guy who chronicled working on his 6 cylinder head and all the pitfalls. You might want to do a search for that.

The headgasket is a labor intensive job...the part is only about $200 or so but its about 8-10 hours of labor. You could try and tackle the job yourself if you're up for the challenge. Or try to find a independent shop to repair it for you and the labor costs should be significantly lower.
