16" wheels for C36??
Merry Xmas everyone! Hope your Christmas was as placid as ours was.
I was wondering whether 16" wheels will clear the brake rotors of my 1995 C36. While the firm ride of the stock 17" AMG wheels are superb in carving up the twisties, I fear that the state of the road surface here in my country produces a bit too much jarring for my everyday commute.
I read sometime ago somewhere that someone had actually done this but cannot locate the post anymore. I would apprecaite any thoughts, comments or suggestions on the matter.
TIA
Bong

They may not fit due to brake caliper clearance issues. I'm not totally sure on this one. The tires have plenty of sidewall to protect the rim, though. Why change it?

I live in the Philippines. The stock 225/45's frint and 245/40 rear are much too stiff for the road conditions here. I will be willing to trade a little sidewall sway with a smoother ride.
