I have two quesion, 1. what can be wrong and how can I fix it. 2. I want to buy OBD software for my laptop and wires to connect. What is a good software and what kind or wires I need?

Your choices run from going to Autozone and borrowing their code reader for free, to buying a code reader off of Ebay for $15-50 or buying a more indepth code reading system that involves software, a multiplexer and cables for big $$$ (Carsoft, Snap-on, etc.).

good suggestion. i'd also recommend going to a nearby autozone to borrow a reader/scanner.
sounds like your car has gone into limp mode. mine does that almost every time my check engine light is on.
there are a number of most likely problem areas in your car. i think a very common problem could be the MAF/MAS, another might be your O2 sensors, and also, it could be your ignition coil packs.
hope this helps. good luck.

check engine light,

I borrowed OBD 2 scaner from auto zone and three things came out. 1. problem with #2 cylender, 2. Mass air sensor 3. seconday sir system.
I changed all the plugs, took out the MAS and cleaned it . now the car will not shut at stop lights but it seems that it is running on three cylinders. any suggestions?

What codes are being displayed now after you did all that work? If you are still getting the #2 cylinder misfire code, I would begin by checking the plug wires.
